For the best corkscrew tool the Victorinox Waiter is hard to beat. It’s basically a purpose built corkscrew and bottle opener with the addition of a very nicely sized knife blade. With the Waiter, Victorinox has taken the classic wine key familiar to sommeliers all over the world and actually managed to improve it.
For our overall winner we had to go with the Leatherman Juice CS4. It’s a light duty multi tool that includes all the useful tools we’ve come to expect from Leatherman and a well made corkscrew. If you’re looking for a full function multi tool that has a corkscrew included the CS4 is going to be your best bet.
Really surprised to see the Victorinox Waiter topping the list. I’ve had mine for years, and it’s always been a reliable companion on camping trips.
I’ve been using the Leatherman Juice CS4 for a month now, and I must say it’s a fantastic tool. The corkscrew is robust and well-integrated, making it perfect for outdoor wine enthusiasts like myself. It’s light enough for backpacking yet has all the essential tools I need. The only downside is the scissors, which feel a bit flimsy. Overall, a solid 4.5/5 from me!
